Calling all student leaders, advocates, and interested participants from all sectors of global health, international development, and social justice!

Partners In Health Canada (PIHC) is excited to announce our 2017 Spotlight On Global Health. Open to the public, this comprehensive afternoon session offers a unique opportunity to explore issues surrounding global health and social justice with like-minded individuals in an engaging and thoughtful way. This year’s case competition will be centered on the health of Indigenous peoples.

The afternoon will feature several speakers, a collaborative and interactive case study, and ample opportunity to network with your fellow participants. Speakers include Adam Graham (Snr. Manager for Development and Programs at PIH Canada), and Dawn Maracle (Indigenous Undergraduate Medical Education Program Coordinator ), with more to be announced.

Partners In Health Canada is a non-profit organization relentlessly committed to global health equity. By establishing long-term relationships with sister organizations based in settings of poverty, Partners In Health strives to achieve two overarching goals: to bring the benefits of modern medical science to those most in need of them and to serve as an antidote to despair. We draw on the resources of the world’s leading medical and academic institutions and on the lived experience of the world’s poorest and sickest communities.

Registration: Entry fee is $15, with all proceeds going to Partners In Health.
