Ms. Harrison will be discussing her personal experience navigating the disease and reflecting upon ethically-relevant issues such as self-identity, balancing medical uncertainty with long term goals and hope for the future, and the impact of cancer on important relationships.

Free admission * No registration required * Light lunch at 12 noon

The Harris Lecture was established at Princess Margaret Hospital in 1981 by the friends and family of Philippa Harris, a caring, bright and enthusiastic student who died from cancer.
