University of Toronto Joint Centre for Bioethics Seminar Series 2019-20

Dorothyann Curran, MHSc, CCRP, Research Associate, The Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre

Actively engaging participants in research is an important part of modern research practice. Ensuring that research participants receive study results is reflective of ethical principles such as autonomy, justice and respect for persons. As a concept, it is popular; in practice far less so. This discussion will explore reasons why research results are and are not provided, methods by which results are being provided and the importance of continuing to encourage and improve the provision of results.

These seminars are free and open to the public. No registration is required. Everyone is welcome either in person or via webcast.
