This popular annual event presents an insider’s view on a topic of current interest in public health. Hosted by the Public Health Alumni Association (PHAA), the evening is an opportunity for Dalla Lana School of Public Health alumni and associates to catch up with colleagues over refreshments and hear a lively discussion on cutting-edge topic.

On Thursday, April 27, our panel will share front-line perspectives on the opioid crisis, one of the biggest public health challenges of the year that affects people across Canada and beyond.

 Dr. Abhimanyu Sud, Academic Director for the award-winning “Safe Opioid Prescribing” course in Continuing Professional Development in U of T Medicine

Dr. Pamela Leece, Physician at Public Health Ontario & Clinical Associate in the Substance Use Service, Women’s College Hospital

 Dr. Aaron Orkin, Emergency physician at Mount Sinai Hospital and family physician at Seaton House men’s shelter
