One of the biggest issues affecting our health care system is our aging population – estimated to reach 10.4 million seniors by 2036. With this aging population comes increased costs to support those with multiple chronic conditions in a hospital or long-term care setting. It is essential that we find ways to better support the needs of this aging demographic while maximizing the efficient use of our health care resources.
In 2012, the Green Shield Canada Foundation (GSCF) created the Health Innovation Collaborative (HIC) to break down silos, forge new relationships, and encourage collaboration in health care.
Join GSCF, Alzheimer Society of Toronto, Bridgepoint Active Healthcare, Centre for Global eHealth Innovation, SPRINT Senior Care, and St. Michael’s Hospital as they share their learnings and accomplishments made over the past three years of collaboration.
With special guest Gordon Pinsent…you’ll want to be part of the conversation.
