Gender Summits are a platform for dialogue with the ambitious goal of exploring equity and diversity in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) research in the broadest sense. Over 600 international advocates of gender equality from academia, industry, government, and non-profit organizations will be participating in the summit.
This year’s theme is Embracing Pluralism and Thriving through Diversity – Shaping Science and Innovation. The program is available here and includes the following IGH-sponsored sessions:
• Including diverse perspectives through intersectionality-informed R&D policy
• Sex and gender-based considerations in science policies: carrots and sticks
• Strategies, tools and metrics for gender in science (GBA+)
• Gender-specific medicine
