The inaugural lecture in a three-part series launches this coming Mon, Feb 3 from 3pm to 5pm at UTSC. See attached poster for details.

In this first lecture, Professor Deborah Zion of Victoria and Monash Universities in Australia will critically explore immigration practices and healthcare ethics relating to the treatment of asylum seekers in and offshore Australia. Later in Feb and March, Richard Elliott of the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network and Ted Schrecker of Durham University will give lectures on medicines access and social inequities shaped the political economy, respectively.
