A national webinar on our research project in the area of safer opioid prescribing practices funded by Health Canada.

This research focuses on the development and implementation of a comprehensive Opioid Self-Assessment Package, with educational and quality improvement tools for opioid prescribers.  This intervention aims to use an evidence-informed, theory-driven approach to increase physician knowledge of the Canadian Guideline for Safe and Effective Use of Opioids for Chronic Non-Cancer Pain, and monitor adherence to the guidelines.

During this webinar, we will provide an overview of the project, showcase the project tools, and seek your feedback on project activities and outputs.

We are interested in your perspectives and suggestions on the potential for broad clinical use of educational and self-assessment tools in primary care to improve adherence to opioid guidelines, and how we can learn from your experiences or current initiatives in this area.
