It's John Snow's 200th Birthday on Friday March 15th!
 
We cordially invite you to come out for an evening of fun, speakers, birthday celebrations, and more… with DLSPH students, alumni, professors, and more….

Dr. David Fisman (from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health) will walk us through a historical account of John Snow and his role as one of the father’s of modern epidemiology.

Dr. Susan Andrews (from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering) will discuss drinking water and waste water management from a local perspective.

Dr. Yu-Ling Cheng (Director of the Centre for Global Engineering) will discuss her team’s innovative global health project, Reinvent the Toilet, that won 3rd place in the Gates Foundation Challenge for a global context on the issue of water sanitation. http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/story/2011/07/20/technology-toilet-gates-cheng.html
