Beyond sharing a common border, the province of Ontario and the state of New York also share, perhaps surprisingly, similar health system challenges and objectives.  Both are engaged in high profile initiatives to transform their health care systems into integrated, sustainable, outcomes-based, and people-centered systems. This panel will explore what these two jurisdictions can learn from each other about monitoring the health of their populations in order to facilitate more ambitious health reform agendas.
