Please join us for an upcoming public seminar through the Collaborative Program Masters Program in Community Development:

“Resident Engagement & Community Development in the Lotherton-Caledonia Neighbhourhood” presented by Zestaline Kim, Program Manager at North York Community House.

Abstract: Community development initiatives take time and constant adaptation to meet the needs and interests of residents. North York Community House’s Action for Neighbourhood Change team has evolved a series of unique initiatives aimed at resident engagement, partnership development, and other community development projects in the Lotherton-Caledonia neighbourhood – including a Community Garden and a Family Tree Urban Orchard. Come learn more about their community organizing efforts to address space, food security, community engagement and other emerging issues, and how they embrace every success – and failure – to continually learn and adapt.

Co-hosted by the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the Health Sciences Building.
