The Promise of Clinical Public Health  is a symposium open widely to the DLSPH and Faculty of Medicine community that provides a terrific opportunity to hear from public health and primary care leaders, including: Vivek Goel, Howard Hu, Arlene King, Andrew Pinto and Danielle Martin. Experts will discuss the role of public health professionals and clinicians in redefining the Canadian health care system and how the School is a global leader in shaping public health education, research and service.

The Dalla Lana School of Public Health is home to the only clinical public health division of its kind in the world. To kick-off strategic planning for this new and exciting endeavor, Ross Upshur, Head of the Clinical Public Health Division, will moderate a lively disussion that explores the past, present, future of Canadian public health as well as opportunities, promises and perils that lie at the intersection of public health and clinical (primary) care.
