Class description:

Bring relief to symptoms of headaches, achy shoulders, sciatica, back pain, plantar fasciitis and many other sources of pain, strain and overuse. Learn simple and effective techniques for overcoming stiffness, increasing mobility and gaining flexibility. This class is designed for the therapeutic needs of people who sit for long hours and have busy lives. Julia will guide you through a self-massage routine using high-grip rubber balls that penetrates through layers of skin, muscle and fascia and reaches deeply into your tight, high-tension areas. You will also stretch and lengthen chronically shortened muscles. Leave the class feeling lighter and calmer!

Teacher bio:

Julia was a champion “couch potato” until she discovered, much to her surprise, that her body loves doing yoga. Thanks to her background in nursing and health services research, nurturing and teaching others comes naturally to Julia. Her mission is to offer students the tools they need to live fuller, more engaged lives. Julia is certified to teach Jivamukti Yoga and Yoga Tune Up®. She is a compassionate guide who gives accessible and fun-filled classes that are perfect for every-body.
