Course Objectives

  • At the end of the course, students will have acquired a broad, critical understanding of the major issues and challenges confronting Aboriginal people in Canada today in terms of their health status, health determinants, and health care.

General Requirements

  • The course will be open to students in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health , as well as graduate students from related disciplines (Anthropology, etc). It is a core course in the Collaborative Program in Aboriginal Health.
