Luana Harper Shirt is from the Plains Cree First Nation in Saddle Lake, Alberta. Luana is a mother of two young Oji/Cree adults and currently lives in Simcoe County. Luana is an Indigenous Cultural Knowledge Keeper that is passionate about Indigenous women’s health, Indigenous language revitalization, Indigenous land-based teachings and Indigenous arts that include songs and games.
