Title: “Strengthening the Safety Culture: Tools and Strategies from CCOHS in Canada”

Join CCOHS and learn about current topics of interest in the field of occupational health and safety and how the national centre on the matter is helping keep workers safe while on the jobsite. Discover what tools and resources you can use in your workplace through CCOHS’ team of specialists and use them in confidence knowing all resources are compiled with knowledge from governments, employers, and labour representatives.

Speaker: Karen Cassidy

Karen Cassidy is the Director of Business Development Solutions at the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) where she leads the development of new and innovative health and safety-related products and resources. A compassionate people leader, she brings to CCOHS a wealth of expertise in leadership, business development, and operations from her work in the private and public sectors. She is passionate about building relationships and collaborating with partners on projects that help advance workplace safety in Canada. Karen has a background in occupational health and safety, environmental management systems, regulatory affairs, marketing, and business development across a variety of industries.
