Data storage and sharing are everyday parts of research data management practice and using the right tools is critical to data security, privacy, and research integrity. Building on our previous SharePoint for Research session, this back-to-basics webinar explores how researchers can use the University of Toronto’s Microsoft SharePoint platform for research projects.

This session will use case examples and live demonstrations to walk researchers through the essentials of SharePoint, including setting up a project, collaborating with internal and external team members, managing sensitive data, and preventing data loss.

Presenters:

Imthiyaz Hameed, Senior Information Management Analyst, Enterprise Applications and Solution Integration (EASI)
Michael Laurentius, Manager, Research Information Security Program
