Presented by the RISE Centre for Queer and Trans Health Research …
The RISE Centre for Queer and Trans Health Research invites students and collaborators to an arts-based collage workshop to explore career intentions, especially around integrating identity into your job search. The session will conclude with a shareback and discussion with fellow students to talk about excitements, anxieties, and questions around career planning in health-focused fields.
This session we will explore
- The skills and strengths you would like to bring to your ‘dream job’.
- Creative strategies to find and create meaningful career opportunities.
- Ways to integrate your passions/interests into your future career planning.
- This is a workshop co-presented with Graduate Career Educator, Jessica Wurster from Career Exploration & Education, within Student Life.
Lunch and art materials will be provided, but students are welcome to bring magazines, and other collaging supplies.
