The Rehabilitation Sciences Institute (RSI) at University of Toronto is organizing its inaugural Speaker Series discussing topics relevant to rehabilitation, public health, and medicine.

In celebration of International Women’s Day & Brain Week, our event on Monday, March 25th will focus on Women & Brain Health featuring Prof. Gillian Einstein, a distinguished UofT researcher studying the role of sex and gender in aging; as well as two RSI alumna/clinicians: Melissa Biscardi will be addressing the link between brain injury and women’s reproductive health; and Reema Shafi will reveal ways in which the female brain becomes uniquely vulnerable following concussion.

All are welcome to attend in person at 500 University (light refreshments will be provided!) or via livestream.
