Samantha Levine-​Finley

Samantha Levine-Finley spent more than 12 years as a professional journalist covering national politics, homeland security, human interest stories, and breaking news for several leading print publications in the Washington, DC, area, including US News & World Report, The Houston Chronicle, Kiplinger’s, and Congressional Quarterly. Samantha has also been published in Marie Claire magazine, The Washington Post Express, the Washington City Paper, and several large U.S. newspapers, including The Palm Beach Post, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and The Oregonian. After 9/11, she was interviewed as on-air homeland security and political expert (2001 – 2006) on CNN Headline News, MSNBC, C-Span, Fox News, NBC-4 (Washington, D.C. affiliate), Capital Sunday ABC-7 (Washington, D.C., affiliate), and several Washington-area news radio stations.

Samantha transitioned her career to focus on organizational and interpersonal problem-solving and learning. She now serves as a workplace facilitator, learning advisor, trainer, and mediator in the U.S. federal, nonprofit and international sectors. She specializes in helping leaders, teams and organizations identify and address the underlying issues that hinder their effectiveness. Samantha designs and leads processes to promote constructive conflict resolution, adaptive management, and improved collaboration. She has served in these capacities for the U.S. Agency for International Development, the American Red Cross, and the National Institutes of Health. Samantha is an International Coach Federation-certified executive coach. She has authored several articles on workplace dispute resolution systems, coaching, and team collaboration.

Samantha earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA, and a Masters in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University in Arlington, VA.
