Frank Burkybile
Class of 2025
Frank Burkybile is a global health diplomat with experience partnering with the World Health Organization (WHO), the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV and AIDS (UNAIDS), the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis building and managing paradigm shifting HIV/AIDS and malaria programs. He has professional interest and experience in One Health and health and human rights issues in complex humanitarian emergencies, conflict zones, natural disasters and disease outbreaks. A lifelong learner with degrees in anthropology and public health, he is also a military veteran, a former EMT/firefighter, and an AmeriCorps Alum. Frank has lived and worked on six continents. He’s currently based in Washington, D.C., and Nairobi, Kenya.
