Indu Subramanian

Class of 2025

Indu Subramanian graduated in medicine from the University of Toronto and did a neurology residency and Movement Disorders fellowship training at UCLA, where she is a clinical professor of neurology and directs the Center of Excellence in Parkinson’s Disease at Veterans Affairs. She is board certified in integrative medicine and teacher-trained in yoga and mindfulness. She did a contemplative fellowship for health care providers through the New York Zen Center. She co-chairs the Wellness Task Force at the Movement Disorders Society. Her main research interest is on the effects of loneliness in Parkinson’s and is a passionate advocate for social connection, especially in stigmatized populations.
