Class of 2026
Natasha Hu is a public health professional with a background in epidemiology, nutrition and food systems who is based in New York City. She is fascinated by how diets reflect not only health but also culture, systems and power and how the way we talk about food can shape how societies eat and thrive. She is interested in helping countries turn evidence into action by improving surveillance, addressing health system gaps for diet-related chronic diseases and spotlighting solutions that make care more equitable. She hopes to bring a systems lens to journalism, weaving evidence and human stories into accessible, actionable narratives.
