Dean’s Alumni Cocktail Reception 2026
Reconnect with the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at #UofTReunion 2026! Acting Dean Audrey Laporte welcomes you to the annual Dean’s Alumni Cocktail Reception, a special evening where our phenomenal DLSPH alumni community (both PHS and IHPME) can connect and reunite during U of T’s Alumni Reunion week. We are excited to invite all PHS and IHPME graduates to attend this evening of food, drink, and networking. Each attendee will receive 2 drink tickets, appetizers and DLSPH swag. Register early, as this is an event you don’t want to miss.

Kids’ Passport 2026
Calling all PHS and IHPME alumni with kids! This year, DLSPH joins U of T’s Kids’ Passport event during U of T’s Alumni Reunion week, where kids make their way around St. George Campus from activity to activity, learning new things in a fun way. At DLSPH, kids will create a poster promoting public health and will be entered into a draw to win a prize after the event. We hope to see you there!

Recap: Dean’s Alumni Cocktail Reception 2025
About 150 DLSPH alumni, comprising grads of both Public Health Sciences (PHS) and the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME), filled the room at U of T’s Faculty Club for the annual Dean’s Alumni Cocktail Reception. The event took place on May 28, 2025, during U of T’s Alumni Reunion weekend, and was a chance for alumni to connect with one another, DLSPH leadership, faculty, staff, and current students.
The evening included remarks from Dean Brown and Dean’s Alumni Advisory Council Co-Chairs Jennifer Bell and Taylor Martin, with many of the members of the Dean’s Alumni Advisory Council, representing both PHS and IHPME, also in attendance. Attendees picked up some DLSPH swag and the night also included raffles for DLSPH sweaters and water bottles.
Some additional highlights included a special shoutout to the many alumni present who have or are currently participating as mentors in the Public Health Sciences Alumni-Student Mentorship Program and a special announcement for a new fundraising initiative, being led by Dean’s Alumni Advisory Council Co-Chair Taylor Martin, for a new MHSc scholarship fund for a student at IHPME. Taylor is leading these efforts by providing an initial contribution and all MHSc alum will be invited to contribute to the fund. DLSPH will match contributions to the fund.
