Helen Surgenor produces World Report, CBC Radio’s flagship national morning newscast. She has produced countless hours of live radio, including breaking news specials, and has made special programmes about the therapeutic benefits of knitting, the politics of choosing a name, and new year’s resolutions. Helen is based in Toronto, but has reported in Alberta, Iqaluit, and Barbados. During her time at World Report, the programme has won the RDTNA for best national newscast four years in a row.
