Susan Prince

Instructor - Performance

Susan Prince came to media with subject matter expertise from another field; she spent the early part of her career in financial services where she managed both institutional and high net worth portfolios. Susan’s interest in taking complex ideas and making them interesting and engaging to a wider audience was the catalyst for the shift to broadcasting. As one of the original producers at BNN, Susan helped to build programming, and subsequently became an on-air analyst and host. Along the way she obtained her MA in Media Production from the Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). Working in radio and television, Susan’s focus was on delivering content that was relevant to a broad audience. In September of 2021, Susan joined TD’s Strategic Editorial Unit to launch a new digital magazine for a new-to-investing audience. In many ways, Susan has come full circle — her investment expertise opened the door to media — and now her media expertise has Susan back in the world of financial services, where her work offers the tools for better financial literacy to a new audience.
