FREE tickets to see Izzeldin Abuelaish on George Stroumboulopoulos

On Tuesday, February 25 at 3 p.m., author and DLSPH Professor Izzeldin Abuelaish pays a visit to CBC’s George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight show.  Dr. Abuelaish founded the Daughters for Life Foundation in memory of his three daughters killed by Israeli tank fire during the Gaza war. His autobiography I Shall Not Hate: A Gaza Doctor’s Journey details his loss and transformation. He’s a passionate advocate of peace between Palestinians and Israelis and a strong proponent of women’s education, and his organization provides scholarship awards to encourage young women to pursue their studies at universities in Palestine, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, and Syria.
