The fourth speaker series is scheduled for Thursday, November 21st, 2019 at the Bridgepoint Hospital in the 10th floor Auditorium from 9:00am-11:00am. We are excited to have Dr. Pauline Boeckxstaens and local expert Dr. Ross Upshur join us.

Session Title: Using patient goals to drive integration

Having a shared vision has been found to be a critical driver in implementing integrated care. Dr. Pauline Boeckxstaens, a clinician scientist from the University of Gent in Belgium, will discuss how using patient-goals can be a north star to help bring together providers from different professional and organizational backgrounds to deliver more integrated and seamless care.

Local expert Dr. Ross Upshur brings in decades of experience in this space, and weighs in on what this means for Ontario as we seek to adopt Ontario Health Teams in a “low-rules” environment.

Stay after the talk for a networking coffee break to continue the conversation, share stories and build new collaborations!

This speaker series is hosted by the Bridgepoint Collaboratory for Research and Innovation, in partnership with IFIC Canada.
