Value/Duration: $2,000 (approx.)
Level of Study: MPH students in Nutrition & Dietetics

To be awarded to one or more full-time or part-time students studying in the Master of Public Health (MPH) Program in Nutrition & Dietetics at the University of Toronto.

Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria through a combination of study and experience: broad perspective of nutrition long term strategic thinking skills; that s/he is innovative, questioning, motivated to share knowledge and receptive to new ways of thinking and ideas; that s/he values and respects the individual and the community and has the potential to build community capacity.

Priority will be given to those students who are committed to pursuing interdisciplinary study to broaden understanding of the multifactorial causes of nutritional issues.

Application Process

The application will include the following:

  1. Application form
  2. One-page plan of study
  3. Curriculum Vitae
  4. One letter of recommendation. References should be emailed to awards.dlsph@utoronto.ca by the deadline with the subject line “Name of Award – Your name”.
  5. Copies of official transcripts – Graduate and Undergraduate (ACORN printouts of UofT Transcripts are acceptable)

  • Applicants are responsible for reviewing the award criteria and ensuring that they have met all the eligibility requirements and adhered to the scholarship application guidelines.
  • Students are responsible for ensuring that their application is complete. Late or incomplete applications will NOT be accepted.
