Goals

  • To highlight multiple forms of systemic and institutional practices that create unjust and inequitable health outcomes in Canada.
  • To draw linkages between multiple forms of resistance for the reclamation of health for communities that have been historically oppressed, and continue to beĀ oppressed.
  • To center Indigenous voices and knowledge in reconciliation engagements and efforts to improve health and healing.
  • To understand how non-Indigenous public health professionals, academics and health care providers can engage in solidarity work and create more equitable health outcomes for all people in Canada.
