The Emerging & Pandemic Infections Consortium (EPIC) presents…

The 2025 EPIC Symposium is a day of research talks, panel discussions, and networking between invited keynote speakers, faculty members and trainees. In partnership with the Centre for Vaccine Preventable Diseases (CVPD), we are excited to focus on “Immunizations: Sustaining progress and impact in a changing landscape”.

We have three exciting keynote speakers who will be covering different aspects of vaccine and public health research and policies. Our keynote speakers are: Natasha Crowcroft (Public Health Agency of Canada), Trina Racine (Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization), and Maxwell Smith (Western University). DLSPH professor and director of the Centre for Vaccine Preventable Diseases, Shelly Bolotin, will be our panel moderator.

In addition, trainees will have the opportunity to have lunch with one of our keynote speakers, our panel chair, or industry representatives during the symposium. This is an excellent trainee networking opportunity, and interested trainees who are also attending the symposium can register using the form linked below.
