Learn about “School Level Statistics and Data Science: Guided by the Pre-K-12 GAISE II Framework” at the Data Science Applied Research and Education Seminar (ARES).

Join us online on November 23 to hear from Professor Christine Franklin, who is the American Statistical Association (ASA) K-12 Statistical Ambassador, as she highlights the role of questioning in statistics and data science with three examples from the newly revised American Statistical Association Pre-K12 Guidelines for Assessment and Instruction in Statistics Education II.

Professor Franklin is also Senior Lecturer Emeritus in the Department of Statistics at the University of Georgia.

You will be able to ask questions live!

The session will be moderated by Professor Liza Bolton from the Department of Statistical Sciences at U of T.

ARES is the result of a collaboration between the Department of Statistical Sciences at U of T and CANSSI Ontario.

Together, we seek to showcase opportunities in all realms of society for Data Science.
