Join us on February 8 to hear from Paul McNicholas, who is Director of the MacData Institute (https://macdata.mcmaster.ca/) and a Professor and University Scholar in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster University.

Learn about data science along with some historical perspective. Professor McNicholas will discuss problems including data with outliers, longitudinal data, and three-way data.
Selected problems in classification are considered, either via specific datasets or general problem types, at this Data Science Applied Research and Education Seminar (ARES).

You will be able to ask questions live!

The session will be moderated by McMaster University Professor Guillaume Paré.

ARES, the Data Science Applied Research and Education Seminar, is a collaboration between the Department of Statistical Sciences at U of T and CANSSI Ontario.
