1) Dr. Jennifer Brooks – “Risk Stratified Breast Cancer Screening: The PERSPECTIVE I&I Study”

Dr. Jennifer Brooks is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology and the Program Director for the MPH Program in Epidemiology at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. She completed her PhD in epidemiology at New York University and her post-doctoral fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her research integrates epidemiologic, genetic, clinical, imaging, and administrative health data to study breast cancer risk, and survivorship. Specifically, her work seeks to apply risk prediction tools to inform breast cancer screening and prevention. She also studies the impact of breast cancer treatments on patient outcomes including second primary contralateral breast cancer and treatment-related late effects.

2) Dr. Eva Grunfeld – “A potpourri of cancer health services research”

Dr. Grunfeld is a physician scientist with the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research and Professor with the Dept of Family and Community Medicine, Dalla Lana School of Public Health, and the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. She has recently completed 12 years as the Vice Chair, Research and Giblon Professor with the Dept. of Family and Community Medicine and the developer and Director of the Knowledge Translation Research Network with OICR. She recently completed her term as Chair of the Institute for Cancer Research, Institute Advisory Board, at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.

Dr. Grunfeld is a leader in cancer health services and outcomes research. Her research focuses on evaluation and knowledge translation of cancer health services, covering the entire spectrum of cancer control activities. She is internationally recognized for research on cancer survivorship, integration of care, and cancer outcomes.
