Presented by Geoinformatics of Spatial and Environmental Health (Ge-iSEE) Lab …

The Geoinformatics of Spatial and Environmental Health (Ge-iSEE) Lab is excited to host a seminar aimed to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange across public health, and environmental epidemiology.

About the Seminar

Professor Guanhui Dong, from the School of Public Health, Sun-Yat Sen University, will present their cutting-edge research, which spans large-scale population studies and the application of advanced geospatial models in environmental health. The seminar will discuss “Ambient Air Pollution and Health Impact in China,”  which systematically summarizes the health impacts of ambient air pollution in China. Long-term exposure to air pollutant such as PM2.5 components, as well as emerging pollutants such as PFAS, and health impacts such as cardiopulmonary diseases, mental health issues and toxicology were assessed in both children and adults.

We look forward to engaging discussions and valuable contributions that will enrich the collective understanding of environmental health challenges and solutions.
