Garden on McCaul: Presentation

Time: 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Join the virtual presentation on the plans for the garden on McCaul Street, and learn more about the plants and their significance in Indigenous culture.

This presentation will be delivered by Liat Margolis, director of the Master of Landscape Architecture Program and Assistant Dean of Research.

Orange Shirt Distribution / Honouring Ceremony / Campus Walk.

Time: 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

In-person event.

The first 250 participants will receive an orange shirt to commemorate the day. Shirts will be distributed between 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Speaker Elder Clayton Shirt will highlight the importance of the day before participants walk through the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit where the U of T campus resides.

Garden Planting

Time: October 2, 2021 –

In-person event.

Participants will see the first seeds planted at McCaul.

Participants are invited to attend all or a single event. Please select your tickets accordingly.
