The NSERC-Alliance research grant program is one of the most flexible and popular avenues for government funding support for externally-sponsored research, offering up to $1M/year for up to 5 years for individual research projects with partners drawn from industry or the not-for-profit or public sectors. The program was updated and streamlined at the end of 2023.
The Innovations & Partnerships Office (IPO) in collaboration with the Centre for Research & Innovation Support (CRIS) is hosting a session with the NSERC Regional Office to outline these changes and answer audience questions. U of T personnel are invited to bring their questions directly to NSERC during the session.
