We are pleased to invite you to participate in the upcoming workshop, ‘Opioids and Work: Evidence, Perspectives, and Looking Ahead,’ being held on March 20, 2024, in Toronto.

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with breakfast and check-in from 8:00 a.m.
Location: St. James Cathedral event venue, 65 Church St, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Format: In-person participation is encouraged, to foster collaboration, discussion, and networking. However, a virtual option is available for those who are unable to come in person.

Purpose: The workshop will convene work and health researchers, policy makers (in health, labour and workers’ compensation), workers, employers, and public health professionals with the goals of sharing evidence on what is known about opioid-related harms among workers, hearing diverse perspectives on the underlying contributors to the problem, working together to identify what workplace parties can do to be part of the solution, and determine what information is still needed to be able to fully understand and tackle the issue.

What to expect: Presentations with Q&A, digital audience participation, a panel discussion with Q&A, a breakout session, and networking opportunities. Lunch will be provided.
