This event is for graduate students who are Black, Indigenous, racialized, or face systemic marginalization and who are conducting critical qualitative research in the health sciences.

Building upon student feedback from our first CQ workshop on the Power and Politics of Doctoral Education, this meet and greet event is a first step toward building a network of students to exchange skills, share resources, and support one another in our academic journeys as critical qualitative health researchers. At this first in-person meeting, we will engage in small- and large-group discussion about our experiences as students, our hopes for this collective, and future activities.

We will also invite suggestions for the naming of this collective – a name that represents community/collectivity and what this collective means to its members.
