The T-CAIREM 2022 Student Trainee Rounds is a monthly competitive seminar series that highlights innovative and outstanding research at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and healthcare across the University of Toronto’s graduate and professional programs.

We are now accepting applications for the 2022 Trainee Rounds from medical and graduate students across faculties. Selected students will be awarded the opportunity to present their research in front of AI in healthcare leaders for cash prizes.

The Student Trainee Rounds consist of monthly one-hour virtual presentations beginning in February 2022. Two students will each give a 20-minute presentation on their research, followed by 10 minutes for Q&A and discussion. Research topics can include any projects at the intersection of AI and medicine including methodological projects, translational clinical projects, education, data governance, health policy, health economics, ethics, etc.
