TITLE OF TALK: Clinical Automation in Emergency Medicine with Machine Learning Medical Directives
ABSTRACT: We’ll discuss opportunities for the utilization and translation of machine learning models into common emergency department workflows and how AI can enable us to move from decision support to true clinical automation. In addition, themes of generalizability, legal/regulatory, explainability, bias, and the digital divide will be discussed as we explore unique issues related to equitable care delivery with AI.
