• The Water Project: DLSPH Screening

The Racial & Ethnic Health Working Group is partnering with Rootworks to bring The Water Project documentary and panel discussion to Dalla Lana. ‘The Water Project’ follows the journey of three Toronto students on their trip back home to East Africa. Here, they document their stories talking with community, local experts and regional governments in finding sustainable solutions for the drought and famine. Their journey provides a grassroots approach to global health, that relates to climate change, water insecurity, the built environment and sustainable development.

The film will follow with a panel discussion with the filmmakers and founders of Rootworks.
