Dr. Farihah Ali is the Scientific Lead and Node Manager for the Ontario Canadian Research Initiative in Substance Matters (CRISM) within the Institute for Mental Health Policy Research (IMHPR) at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). She is a qualitative researcher whose work focuses on substance use and addiction, harm reduction, and drug policy. Dr. Ali’s research aims to support the development of evidence-informed interventions and public policies that better meet the needs of People Who Use Drugs and help address the opioid overdose crisis. She has a particular interest in specialty-based addiction treatment and harm reduction services.
