Mohammad Kaviul Anam Khan earned his PhD from the Biostatistics Division at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. His methodological research focuses on developing interpretable variable importance measures for machine learning models, with applications in health and clinical science datasets. He is currently a Research Associate, primarily responsible for supervising MSc and PhD students in physiology and guiding biostatisticians in their statistical analyses. His research focuses on growth trajectories, the effects of interactions between genetic and environmental risk factors on lung function in children, and the impact of microbiomes on clinical outcomes
