Research Interests
My research contributes to the field of sexual and gender minority health by examining how sexuality, gender and race intersect to produce health inequities, particularly in relation to HIV and sexual health among gay, bisexual, queer and other men who have sex with men. Grounded in the sociology of health, my work investigates the social and structural determinants of health, healthcare access and the governance of public health interventions using qualitative and community-engaged methodologies.
