Jason Garay is a Partner at Deloitte Canada and is the National Public Health Leader for the firm. Jason is also a Life Sciences and Health Care Industry Leader for Deloitte’s Artificial Intelligence and Data practice. Jason’s primary focus is on Public Health, Population Health, Data Transformation and Health System Strategy, all enabled through data, analytics and the application of AI.
Jason has over 25 years of experience in provincial and national health systems. Skilled in Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Epidemiology, Digital Transformation, Literature Reviews, Health Services Research, and Healthcare, Jason has helped organizations drive their public health, data and analytics innovation agendas.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Jason held several senior leadership positions in the Canadian healthcare system including Vice President at Cancer Care Ontario and Director of Communicable Diseases at Public Health Ontario.
Jason practiced for several years as a front-line epidemiologist and surveillance specialist with a Masters of Health Science (MSHc) in Community Health and Epidemiology from University of Toronto where he also holds a Faculty Appointment as an Adjunct Professor.
