What’s your program and specialty/subject matter of focus?
I am a Masters of Public Health Student focusing in Occupational and Environmental Health. I am entering my second year.
Why did you choose to join the PHSA? And why are you suited for your position?
I want to be able to mentor first year students and engage all of Dalla Lana in the events we plan and execute over the year. I believe school should not only be about classroom activities, but about engaging with the community and meeting new people. As the Communications Chair I want to make these activities appealing to all students and encourage them to participate and enjoy.
What would you say to a prospective student who is just starting at the school?
Pursuing my masters at DLSPH has provided a supporting learning environment and many valuable professional development opportunities. Not only does DLSPH programs provide professional development but presents an abundant of research opportunities at various research institutes all over the province.
