Are you an undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Toronto interested in AI and the importance of interdisciplinary thinking in shaping debates about technology? For a chance to win a cash prize ($750 and $1000) and to speak at Who’s Afraid of AI? Arts, Sciences, and the Futures of Intelligence, submit either a short essay (<900 words) or software/artwork accompanied by a short rationale (<400 words) answering the following prompt: How can the humanities and the social sciences guide future AI research? or How can AI research contribute to understanding and radically improving the human condition?
