Our Kids’ Health is a social media-based health initiative founded by Dr. Ripudaman Minhas at St. Michael’s Hospital, Unity Health Toronto. The team is dedicated to battling health misinformation and promoting health equity, and they are excited to announce the first in-person event for youth – the Together Against Misinformation (TAM) Youth Conference, taking place on November 9th, from 10am to 5:30pm EST, in downtown Toronto.
The TAM conference aims to raise youth awareness about health misinformation and empower them with knowledge on critical health topics. The conference will bring together motivated youth from across the GTA, along with experts and community groups that share these values. This free event will provide youth with the opportunity to learn from leading professionals, engage in meaningful discussions about health misinformation, and connect with like-minded peers and health advocates.
