This course draws on the fields of public health, geography, environmental science, planning and architecture to explore the ways in which human health is affected by the ways we design, develop, and interact with the built environment in which we live, work, rest and socialize. More specifically, this course considers how various planning, design and development decisions impact individual and population health

Qualifications:

Successful T.A. must have a sound understanding of core concepts/material (planning, architecture, engineering, public health, environmental science) and the ability to convey these effectively.

Duties:

a) Assists in grading assignments; b) assist with fieldtrips; c) hold office hours; d) other duties as assigned.

Relevant Criterion:

The need to acquire experience is the more relevant criterion than previous experience in respect of this posted position
